Delerese Pratt is a Bahamian entrepreneur, creative and professional agent, She is a compassionate leader her journey reflects resilience, service, and a passion for people. Born in Nassau and raised in Freeport, Grand Bahama by her grandmother—affectionately known as “Mommy”—Dee was instilled with values of integrity, determination, and independence from an early age. Her entrepreneurial foundation was strengthened under the mentorship of the late Mrs. Inez Duncanson of Zita’s Florist, where she developed customer-focused and creative skills that would later shape her career.
Delerese love for natural beauty and people inspired her pursuit of photography. She trained with Bahamian photographers and Wally’s Photo Magic, and later received significant mentorship at Foto Factory under the late Clarence Bellot. Over the years, she has grown into a skilled photographer while furthering her education embracing being a life-long learner as a core value.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dee is deeply committed to family and community. A proud mother, she credits her son as the driving force behind her dedication to hard work and ambition. She actively serves with the Grand Bahama Cancer Society and volunteer her time to many local initiatives, demonstrating her passion for service and social impact. She has a well-rounded friendship circle of supportive friends who’ve added to a good quality of life.
Recognized as a confidant and trusted collaborator, Dee is admired for her warmth, creativity, and ability to build meaningful relationships. Whether through her photography, volunteerism, or everyday interactions, she remains dedicated to uplifting others while embracing the simple joys of life. Cooking, traveling, shopping, an array of music, reading and long walks are just a few hobbies she enjoys.
Dee loves the ocean and find peace riding the waves or watching the sunset on the horizon. She is fond of past -time stories and fishes as often as possible. Delerese is a life learner and is currently pursuing her navigation license. Dee believes life is about embracing experiences, managing expectations, making good use of our most valued asset “time” and finding beauty in sunny and rainy days.
